Snapshot of your day
You will be working with a domain experts to clarify accounting issues, analyze errors, make corrections, and support process improvements. You will manage daily General Ledger, Closing & Reporting tasks and month-end activities, ensuring timely and accurate recording per IFRS, local GAAP, and relevant standards.
How you'll make a difference
- Orchestrate your assigned company’s MEC (Month-end-Closing), ensuring active collaboration, problem solving skills, and continue improving mindset
- Ensure audit controls
- Perform accounts reconciliation
- Assisting with implementing and documenting new processes and procedures
- General housekeeping of General Ledger accounts
- Intercompany reconciliations
- Posting of accruals, provisions, and further relevant GL items
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including regional accounting hubs and local business teams
- Actively listen to stakeholder needs, manage complex issues, and take ownership of decisions with the Senior Analyst
- Share best practices with stakeholders
- With your open-mindedness and willingness to learn, by building your skills and capabilities within our organization, you will support the General Ledger, Closing & Reporting team with the tasks at hand

What you bring
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
- Good understanding of SAP-FI (you will be tested)
- You are fluent English
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Finance Operations
- General Ledger, Closing & Reporting accounting and IFRS knowledge is preferable
- Good MS-Office skills (especially in MS-Excel)
- Experience in transitions and transformation projects is an advantage

You will be coordinated operationally by the General Ledger, Closing & Reporting Team Lead, and further- be reporting to the Accounting Service Center General Ledger, Closing & Reporting Function Lead being part of both the local finance community as well as an international network of accounting experts.
