A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Field Operations AI Change Agent, you play a pivotal role in modernizing how operational teams work, interact with digital tools, and deliver field excellence. You combine operational knowledge, project management discipline, and digital solution expertise to bridge the gap between frontline needs and evolving technologies. Your day involves engaging with stakeholders across field operations, back-office teams, digital product owners, and leadership to identify inefficiencies, define improvement opportunities, deploy AI-enabled solutions, and champion adoption of new tools and processes that enhance safety, performance, and organizational efficiency.

How You’ll Make an Impact

AI‑Enabled Workflow & Process Optimization:

  • Identify operational friction across field and back-office processes and design AI-assisted solutions that streamline planning, documentation, reporting, and decision-making.
  • Develop and deploy digital tools, copilots, and automation that enhance safety, improve data accessibility, and increase technician and office productivity.
  • Evaluate existing processes end-to-end and introduce scalable improvements using AI, automation, and low-code technologies

What You Bring

  • Incoming Senior or Junior pursuing a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Administration or related.  Applicants must have a minimum of a 3.2 GPA and have relevant prior work experience. Travel may be required.
  • Experience in field operations, digital transformation, project management, or operational excellence.
  • Working knowledge of AI tools, low-code/no-code platforms, automation technologies, or digital workflow solutions.
  • Experience supporting digital adoption, training, user onboarding, or navigating change in an operational environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across technical, operational, and leadership groups.
  • Certifications or experience in project management (e.g., PMP), change management (e.g., PROSCI), or continuous improvement (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) are an advantage.

Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

About the Team

You will join a team focused on operational excellence, digital enablement, and continuous improvement. The team supports the rollout of modern digital applications, AI-supported workflows, and process optimization initiatives across the organization, working closely with both field teams and business functions to ensure sustainable improvements and scalable best practices.
