A Snapshot of Your Day

We are seeking a Field Service Project Manager to support the Region in the development of field projects that align to the regional strategic growth objective. The Project Manager will help sell then plan, coordinate and manage field operations projects for the maintenance installation or revamps of rotating equipment, steam turbines, generators and compressors.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide customers with technical solutions to operation and maintenance problems with special emphasis on promoting the use of available field operation technology
  • Develop technical and commercial proposals for maintenance overhaul schemes to customer requirements
  • Discuss negotiate and finalize significant and unique proposals and any change orders with customer in cooperation with legal and senior management when applicable
  • Provide a single point contact for each assigned field operation project on behalf of Siemens Energy
  • Responsible for coordinating and managing deliverables from the different parts of the business including parts, technical support field service, tooling procurement, shipping, and 3rd party services
  • Develop and maintain a robust relationship with a customer by continuously demonstrating the effectiveness of the managed approach to field operation projects
  • Develop and manage project execution schedules.
  • Directly manage the assigned field operation project contracts to ensure costs are minimized revenue is maximized and margin and operation income are in line with or exceed expectations

What You Bring

  • BS or BA in related discipline or advanced degree (Project management certification is a plus)
  • 3 or more years of experience in related field
  • MS Office suite skills specifically MS Project and/ or Primavera is a must
  • Ability and willingness to work irregular hours based on projects requirements
  • Ability and willingness to travel within Canada and internationally as needed (~30%)
  • Travel up to 30% - up to 3 to 4 weeks at the time.

Pay Transparency:

This job is based in Oakville, Ontario. Siemens Energy offers a variety of benefits including health and wellness, paid time off and holiday pay. The base salary range for this position is 90k to 120k.

Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, skills, certifications, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on everyone’s qualifications.
