A Snapshot of your Day
As a Working Student will support the PI & OGC (Process Industries & Oil and Gas) sales team in Turkey. The role is designed to provide administrative and operational assistance, primarily focusing on the creation and management of service proposals. To address this need, the role will concentrate on two main areas: Proposal Development Support and Sales Process Administration. This involves assisting with the compilation and formatting of proposal documents, as well as supporting the sales team with data management and coordination tasks, allowing the student to gain practical experience in a B2B sales environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Prepare solutions, systems and service proposals based on customer specifications
- Obtain best prices available in the market
- Continuously maintain and improve offer content and quality
- Demand better prices from internal product groups.
- Ensure that the solution offered is compliant with regulations and company policies as well as customer tender
- Internal coordination with engineering, procurement and project management during offer preparation phase
- Support sales staff in meeting about tender clarifications with the customer in terms of the offer, sourcing etc.
- Analyze customer specifications
- Generate technical solutions and contribute unique selling proposition
- Ensure all orders are in line with Limits of Authority and financial objectives of Siemens Energy
- Base cost calculation
What You Bring
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program at a recognized university
- Preferred fields of study: Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Automation Engineering, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficient in English; native or fluent in Turkish
- Strong attention to detail with well-developed organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn
