A Snapshot of Your Day

As a student worker in our team, you'll play a hands-on role in supporting a system used across all offshore projects. Your day will typically involve providing 1st and 2nd level support by answering user tickets, emails, and occasional calls to help resolve issues and ensure smooth system operation. You’ll assist in setting up new projects and fulfilling user requests based on project-specific needs.

In addition, you'll work with Excel to modify data, perform calculations, and prepare mappings that support system functionality. Over time, you'll also get the opportunity to be involved in developing and enhancing internal tools using PowerApps - gaining valuable skills in app creation and automation.

You’ll be part of a collaborative, international team that values clear communication, knowledge-sharing, and continuous improvement. Your contributions will directly support operational efficiency across global projects, making a real impact on the daily work of our users and contributing to Siemens Energy’s broader mission.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Provide timely and effective 1st and 2nd level support, helping users across offshore projects resolve technical issues and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Set up and maintain project environments within our internal system, tailoring configurations to meet specific user and project needs.
• Work with Excel to clean, structure, and calculate data, ensuring accuracy in project mappings and system inputs.
• Support the development and improvement of internal tools and processes by contributing to PowerApps applications and automation initiatives.

What You Bring

• You are currently enrolled in a university program - ideally in IT or engineering, but other fields are also welcome.
• A proactive and solution-oriented mindset, you enjoy solving problems and helping others.
• Basic knowledge of Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables) and an interest in working with data.
• Curiosity and motivation to learn about internal tools and platforms such as PowerApps.
• Good communication skills in English and the ability to work independently as well as in a team.
