Join our dynamic Service Procurement team at Siemens Energy, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring business continuity for the Gas Services division in South West Europe. Imagine being at the forefront of strategic procurement partnerships that directly influence the success of critical Control & Digitalization projects. You will lead initiatives in Strategic Sourcing & Supplier Development, Project Procurement & Execution, and Contract & Commercial Management, all while fostering a competitive and reliable supplier base. Your expertise will not only drive seamless procurement execution for complex projects but also enhance supply chain reliability, making a significant impact on our mission to deliver innovative energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will define and implement purchasing strategies for Control & Digitalization projects, aligning them with our business goals.
• Collaborate with global commodity management to develop, qualify, and manage suppliers, ensuring a robust supply base.
• Conduct supplier performance management and market research to optimize costs and ensure supply reliability.
• Act as the primary procurement partner for sales and execution teams, managing the end-to-end procurement process, including RfQs and purchase orders in SAP.
• Draft, negotiate, and administer project-specific agreements and contracts, while managing commercial risks and ensuring compliance with Siemens Energy’s policies.

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Over 5 years of significant professional experience in strategic or project-based procurement, ideally within the power generation, electrical, automation, or EPC industries.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish is essential; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus.
• Proven experience with SAP (MM module) and the Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong skills in negotiation, contract management, strategic sourcing, and risk management.
