A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Sales Professional, managing high-value customer relationships and driving sales growth in the region is a key focus. The role is structured around three core areas: strategic account management to grow existing business, new business development to expand market share, and complex solution selling to address sophisticated client needs. The goal is to nurture current revenue streams and secure new ones.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and execute sales campaigns for selected customer verticals with a goal to establish relationships early in the project phases
- Advising customers on how Siemens Energy portfolios integrate into their projects, complimenting their business goals and then translating customer requirements back into the business
- Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends to identify new business opportunities and inform sales strategies.
- Develop and execute medium to long-term strategic sales plans for a portfolio of key accounts to ensure retention and growth.
- Proactively identify, research, and contact prospective customers within the Australian market to build a robust sales pipeline.
What You Bring
- Recognized within the industry with extensive experience in the energy or grid technology sector.
- Possess a proven ability to manage complex sales cycles, develop strategic proposals.
Deep technical knowledge of transmission products and digital portfolios and ability to develop the market knowledge. - Sales and portfolio experience in an allied industry for at least 5 years.
- Successful account and portfolio experience with growth results.
- Ability to engage at GM and Executive level forming relationships
- Engineering Degree/Diploma / Electrical trade background highly regarded.
- Full working rights in Australia and ability to travel.
