- Develop and implement quality systems: Create and maintain quality control policies, procedures, and programs that align with both internal standards and external regulations.
- Ensure compliance: Make sure all processes and products meet relevant industry and legal standards.
- Monitor and analyze: Track quality metrics, analyze data to identify inefficiencies or problems, and conduct audits to ensure standards are being met.
- Collaborate with teams: Work with other department heads to implement changes, resolve issues, and train employees on quality assurance standards.
- Promote continuous improvement: Foster a culture where quality is a shared goal and drive efforts to continuously improve processes and products.
- Technical and analytical skills: Strong understanding of quality control procedures and data analysis.
- Grid-asset knowledge: Deep knowledge of the quality standards, processes, and tools relevant to condition of high-voltage electric assets.
- Organization and attention to detail: Strong organizational skills to manage various processes and meticulous attention to detail to track progress and identify issues.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify the root cause of quality issues and implement effective solutions.
- Communication skills: Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
