A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Product Support Manager within the Product Life Cycle organization for MGT products, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the SGT-800 fleet performs at its best. You’ll proactively monitor operations, identify and resolve product issues, and keep our customers informed every step of the way. Working closely with the product team, you’ll play a key role in managing technical challenges, sharing expertise, and driving continuous improvement.
No two days are the same. You might start your morning collaborating with colleagues on complex technical investigations or leading a TI-program discussion. In the afternoon, you could be presenting insights, operational experience, and improvement strategies directly to an SGT-800 customer—turning technical knowledge into real-world value.
By supporting the gas turbine throughout its entire lifecycle, you’ll build deep technical expertise across multiple systems, gain hands-on operational insight into the SGT-800, and strengthen your understanding of the service business. Just as importantly, you’ll sharpen your ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly and confidently to a wide range of audiences.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Analyze the product and fleet performance from a reliability, integrity and risk perspective.
- Be part of the team managing the most challenging product issues, with responsibility for fleet analysis, communication etc.
- Ensure that generic design issues are addressed within R&D and follow up that solutions and fleet modification are released to minimize product risk and customer impact.
- Prepare communication material for product operational experience and present both internally and in customer meetings.
- Site visit if needed with regards of product investigation and customer contact. Provide technical support in customer meetings for major product issues.
What You Bring
- A technical interest, with a bachelor or master’s engineering degree or equivalent work experience
- Multiyear experience from a gas turbine technical function with an extended SGT-800 gas turbine knowledge or working experience similar roles in other industrial businesses.
- Good communication skills are required, and you are comfortable to prepare, present and discuss technical topics both internal and external.
- Previous experience from customer communication is highly beneficial.
- Confident in taking own responsibility and handle technical questions independently or with support of a large internal contact network from different areas.
- English language is fluent and good Swedish language skills.
About the Team
You will be part of our SGT-800 Product Support Team, working together with colleges with different background and extensive experience from our product. We work with both proactive and reactive support to ensure a high product reliability and customer satisfaction thru the whole product life cycle. To support our continuously growing fleet, we are expanding with several new positions!
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
