We have several openings and are targeting Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and Aerospace Engineering graduates who want to define the Energy systems and infrastructure to power the world for the next generation.

Here at Siemens-Energy we are faced with the exciting demand that decarbonization efforts through private enterprise and governmental agencies are creating. As one of the world’s largest energy solutions providers we are up for the challenge – join us in developing the technology needed for a more sustainable tomorrow.

As an Engineer joining into one of these roles, plan to undergo 3-5 years of extensive industry and product line training. Short duration domestic travel will be expected for proper introduction to the installation, commissioning, and/or maintenance of our Product portfolio. As experience grows additional rotation within various Engineering disciplines will also be encouraged.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

An understanding of 3-D modeling software with ANSYS exposure, or previous FEA experience is useful. The right candidate for this field possesses strong capability for theoretical understanding of complex processes and/or mechanical & electrical systems. Predictive failure analysis and general understanding of mechanical and material strengths and / or force load distribution is needed.

Package, Electromechanical, and Systems Engineering – in this area of Engineering you will find yourself developing medium to large scale equipment packages within our Reciprocating product line. One must have a deep appreciation for extremely complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems if entering this field. Equipment packages as large as small office buildings are developed – this team follows these packages through the complete process of Design, Procurement, Manufacturing / Fabrication, and commissioning. As your experience within this group grows, travel to supplier and client sites may be required.

Mechanical, Product, and Repair Engineering - in this area of Engineering you will find yourself working with and developing the world’s largest Reciprocating compressor fleet. If entering this field a general understanding of 3D modeling practices is beneficial. Day to day activity involves the creation of component / assembly designs with accompanying bill of materials used within the product portfolio. This field has endless opportunities to stretch the imagination of even the most talented Mechanical Engineer. If the idea of working with Engine Casings (Frames) the size of a city bus, or 25ft Crankshafts excite you, this is where you belong.

What You Bring:
