- Lead and inspire: Provide professional and disciplinary leadership to the Turbine Operations department, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and high performance among over 30 technical project managers focused on blades and vanes development
- In a dual lead role, you will also manage the Turbine Operations East team in Germany, which consists of more than 15 team members, while overseeing the manager of Turbine Operations West
- Drive the turbine strategic workforce planning and engineering outsourcing strategy, proactively identifying and resolving staffing issues while prioritizing hiring and onboarding
- Coach teams facing challenges, technically support turbine projects, and ensure high-quality project execution within the R&D PM @ Siemens framework
- Spearhead improvement projects across the turbine department and support global harmonization initiatives, such as the PPQ improvement project
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, service, procurement, and program management to meet project and operational goals
- A university degree or equivalent in engineering
- Extensive experience in R&D project management or line management, with a preference for experience in gas turbine design
- Proven ability to lead and develop global teams, drive strategic initiatives, and manage complex projects effectively
- A deep understanding of design activities related to gas turbine projects, including aerodynamics, heat transfer, mechanical integrity, mechanical design, manufacturing, and service
- Strong communication, intercultural awareness, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel internationally to the US and India, as well as domestically
- Fluency in English and German (spoken and written)
