A Snapshot of Your Day 

Your day kicks off by working closely with the lead of the FICO chapter to ensure the seamless functioning of Siemens Energy’s Finance and Controlling processes in our ERP systems. You’ll tackle global demand management, coordinate with business contacts to gather requirements, and create functional specifications for complex SAP developments.
Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate with business units, SAP solution providers, and IT teams to resolve issues, process change requests, and ensure compliance with the latest financial regulations. You’ll also work on the S/4 HANA migration, ensuring all finance processes are standardized and optimized for future needs.


How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • provide global governance and consulting for the Finance and Controlling (FICO) processes within Siemens Energy’s ERP landscape
  • collaborate with key stakeholders to develop process solutions for complex SAP-related developments.
  • oversee IT project management duties for small-to-medium projects, ensuring timely delivery of solutions
  • drive process standardization as part of the S/4 HANA migration project from ECC6
  • manage global demand, process consulting, and business support to guarantee the smooth operation of SAP system
  • work closely with IT providers to ensure all application maintenance and change requests are handled efficiently
  • develop and manage test cases to ensure the integrity and accuracy of system updates and changes
What You Bring
  • Bachelor’s degree in, Finance, IT or related fields (or equivalent experience) 
  • 1-3 years of experience in global demand management, business process design in Finance (FI), and Controlling (CO) in SAP
  • knowledge of SAP and S/4 HANA, particularly in finance-related areas like AR/AP/GL/AA, COPA, and cost/profit center controlling
  • solid understanding of accounting principles such as IFRS and GAAP is an advantage
  • strong project management skills, particularly in scheduling, quality control, and change communication.
  • proficiency in German and English is required; 
  • willingness to travel up to 10%
