A Snapshot of Your Day
As an SAP FICO Business System Analyst at Siemens Energy, you will be part of a seasoned IT team dedicated to supporting the future of the energy market. Your role will involve providing global consulting and governance for Finance and Controlling processes within Siemens Energy ERP ECC6 systems. You will work closely with solution providers to ensure smooth business operations and address issues and change requests. Additionally, you will drive process standardization in the S/4 HANA project and oversee the migration from ECC6.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with business representatives to develop innovative process solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage global demand, provide process consulting, and offer business support for ERP systems.
- Work with key business partners to develop requirements and functional specifications.
- Complete FICO configuration to define global standard processes in SAP.
- Develop test cases and manage test activities.
- Lead IT projects for small to medium-sized initiatives.
- Oversee IT providers for application maintenance and change requests.
- Collaborate with other application teams, Basis and Security teams, and the Service Desk team.
What You Bring
- A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in global governance, managing demand, and providing business support for IT-integrated processes in a multinational environment.
- 5+ years of experience in setting up SAP configuration in the areas of Finance (FI) and Controlling (CO).
- In-depth knowledge of SAP FI sub-modules (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO sub-modules (CCA, PCA, IO, PC, COPA).
- Understanding of FICO integration with other SAP modules.
- Ability to manage small to medium-sized projects.
- Experience in managing external providers for ERP system changes and support.
- Ability to work in agile and cross-functional environments.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and German.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
