A Snapshot of Your Day
The Project Development Manager will lead the overall sales development process for Steam Turbines Mods & Ups Projects – Responsible for Opportunity discovery & qualification; strategy setting & development; identifying and influencing key decision makers; and successfully navigating complex internal & external selling environments.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive strong business acumen to define and communicate compelling value propositions aligned with company growth and profitability goals.
- Lead forecasting for all M&U business in the assigned region (Salesforce funnel), ensuring high accuracy, data quality, and coordination of Salesforce fleet clean‑up efforts.
- Support country sales teams through fleet analysis, opportunity identification, business case development, workshops, and feasibility assessments for oOEM opportunities with PCC collaboration.
- Ensure clean handover to commercial and execution teams by supporting Purchase Order review/capture and participating in all internal and external project kickoff meetings.
- Meet SE sales, booking, and earnings targets while managing expenses within corporate guidelines and providing ongoing insights on market and competitive activity.
- Represent the organization at local and global industry tradeshows and support engagement efforts to strengthen market presence
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, with English proficiency required; Spanish is a plus.
- Experience for GRIP Level 6 or 10+ years for GRIP Level 5B, ideally in rotating equipment sales and/or capital project business development.
- Strong technical and strategic understanding of industrial steam turbines, including performance, applications, and SE turbine models (preferred).
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally within the assigned territory.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse, global, and cross‑functional teams; highly self‑motivated with strong business acumen.
- Compliance with SE federal contractor requirements, including potential reinstatement of COVID‑19 vaccination mandates depending on legal developments.
