Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a Buying Professional in Charlotte, NC to implement commodity strategies to ensure long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials.

How You’ll Make an Impact: 

  • Contribute to implementation and ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes and systems to ensure high process efficiency and process compliance including compliant Purchase-to-Pay (P2P) process, Procurement guidelines, IT systems.
  • Prepare and conduct negotiations to obtain the highest feasible savings.
  • Generate documents and implement savings to contribute to the success of the business and make results transparent.
  • Execute supplier management processes like qualification, selection, evaluation, development, classification.
  • Ensure close cooperation with internal customers (requisitioners) to ensure customer care and early involvement.
  • Provide supplier information for the project and conduct project-specific supplier evaluation (project evaluations).
  • 10% domestic travel required.
  • Telecommuting permitted.

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, Supply Chain or a related field and 3 years of experience.
  • Full term of experience must include: Excel and MS Office tools;
  • Product and service sourcing;
  • Supplier selection;
  • Pricing and terms negotiation; and
  • Pull drawings and process quotes.
  • 10% domestic travel required.
  • Telecommuting permitted.
  • The position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.
