Picture kicking off your day with a team gathering, exploring fresh ideas to interact with vital clients in the marine sector. You'll be instrumental in recognizing new business possibilities and fostering relationships with customers. Your involvement will be essential in promoting Siemens Energy's mission of spearheading the global energy transition through tailored energy solutions for our marine team members. Collaborating with a dynamic and motivated team, you'll encounter new challenges daily and have opportunities to showcase your expertise and have a meaningful impact.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Detect business opportunities and develop leads, maintaining them in Salesforce.
- Collaborate with Hub BD experts to evaluate initial attractiveness and align on acquisition strategies.
- Develop first concepts, analyze the competitive landscape, and understand customer needs to define preliminary business models.
- Coordinate and complete evaluations for go/no-go decisions with Hub BD experts and BA sales.
- Drive opportunity development, including defining Siemens Energy's scope, preparing budgetary bids, and supporting bid/no-bid decisions.
- Maintain customer intimacy and coordinate activities with BA sales.
- Influence customers towards Siemens Energy solutions during the project pre-requisition phase.
- Establish competitive technical solutions based on winning strategies and manage technical clarifications and negotiations.
What You Bring
- Over 5 years of key account management experience in the marine industry.
- A minimum of 5 years in Sales and Tendering roles.
- Experience in the energy industry is a plus.
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Automation, or related fields; a Master's degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in English; German is a plus.
- In-depth knowledge of EHS protocols.
- A quality-focused approach that emphasizes delivering outcomes.
