We are looking for an ambitious Design/Development Electrical Engineer who can ignite change and has the desire and skills to energize society and make tomorrow different today!

How You’ll Make an Impact

Your principal role will be to provide electrical design in customer order projects, different varied tasks in some of the areas Generator, Relay protections, Voltage regulators, Switchgears and Power Transformers. This role covers conceptual and detailed design, prototyping, analysis, qualification, and production support including the generation of associated documentation.

  • Produce specifications, calculations, and documentation to support the design solutions.
  • Manage work in accordance with project cost, timescale, and quality targets.
  • Present at technical review and generate design reports.
  • Capable of following direction and adjusting to priority changes to meet schedule milestones.
  • Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with the departmental processes for technical scope control, quality, and health & safety.
  • Support the continuous development of our department by helping identify: Process errors and fixes, Process improvement opportunities, Equipment improvement suggestions and relevant training opportunities/suggestions.

What You Bring  

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field. Advanced degree is preferred (eg., Masters).
  • Eager to learn and acquire experience in power generation areas.
  • Strong work ethic, able to work of own initiative and ability to be proactive.
  • Professional and self-motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to take challenges and generate imaginative and innovative ideas for the benefit of the company or customer.
  • Conversant with standard software packages: Microsoft Office.
  • Working experiences with Engineering tools like Comos / Autocad / E-plan / Matlab etc is preferred.

About the Team

We are a high-performing agile team with approximately 12 people, responsible for the High and Medium Voltage equipment in the Gas Turbine Order Engineering division. Team consists of individuals with a wide range of skills that is needed to efficiently get work done from their backlog. Team members are open-minded and highly motivated and take the accountability to achieve the goals they have been assigned. The team´s core behaviors are solving the team challenges together, monitoring each other, knowing when team members need support and adapting to changing environments or priorities.

 

 

 

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
