A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Project Risk and Opportunity Manager, you will play a key role in governing and driving the active risk management process across the global Offshore Sales & Projects organization.

You will be responsible for proactively handling risks and opportunities across multiple large-scale offshore wind projects, ensuring efficient project performance. As member of the project core team, you will be working closely with the Project Manager, Commercial Project Manager and the Project Package Managers throughout the different phases of the project execution. You will contribute to the continuous improvement and development of a strong risk culture and effective decision-making.

 

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Lead and implement risk management strategies for multiple large-scale offshore wind projects.
  • Act as the key guide in risk & opportunity management, ensuring best practices are applied.
  • Collaborate with project managers and internal teams to identify, track, and mitigate emerging risks while improving opportunities.
  • Support the development and execution of risk response strategies, working closely with partners at all levels.
  • Prepare and present high-quality risk reports and recommendations to senior management.
  • Facilitate workshops and project reviews to assess, mitigate, and lead project risks and opportunities.
  • Drive portfolio optimization by optimally leading and reporting threats and opportunities.
  • Promote a culture of risk awareness and continuous improvement within the offshore organization.
  • Develop and implement best practices, tools, and training to improve risk management processes.
 

What you Bring

  • Bachelor or Master's in Engineering, Business Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Significant hands-on experience in project risk management, ideally within offshore wind, energy, or large-scale infrastructure projects.
  • Experience in leading risk across multiple projects, including supervising and reporting risks at the portfolio level.
  • Strong ability to interpret Monte Carlo models (both cost and schedule) and apply data-driven insights.
  •  Confirmed ability to engage and influence diverse partners, from project teams to senior executives.
  • Problem-Solving & Decision-Making - a structured and systematic approach to identifying and addressing project risks.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office and risk management software.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, facilitation, and mediation skills, with a proactive attitude and ability to drive initiatives.
