A Snapshot of Your Day

We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced High Voltage troubleshooter to complete our team of technicians. The successful candidate has a proven record of working within complex environments and will have experience working offshore. The role involves working in a 14 days on/off rotation. The port of embarkation is Eemshaven and the windfarm is SOV operated. A successful candidate would be expected to progress to HV troubleshooter on our turbines by means of on-the-job training within a realistic timeframe. 


How you’ll make an impact
• As a HV Troubleshooting Technician you will perform scheduled maintenance, pre-defined repair works as well as troubleshooting (both LV and HV) on our wind turbines. 
• You will work on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical equipment and machinery. 
• You will ensure compliance with Siemens Energy standards in relation to EHS, Quality and Service delivery. 
• You will be expected (after sufficient on the job training) to lead a team of troubleshooters and technicians in regular maintenance and (HV) troubleshooting situations. 
• You will provide accurate reporting into and utilization of work instructions, isolation procedures, risk assessments, ATS database and other electronic workflow systems. • You will work with a variety of nationalities and experience levels in a 14-day rotation while staying on a SOV and being transferred to turbines with CTV and walk-to-work systems. 

What you bring
You have at least an MBO-4 technical education or equivalent experience. 
• You are in possession of all necessary trainings within the SE framework up to and including C&T trainings for the Siemens Geared platform or equivalent. 
• You have partaken in Siemens Switchgear and Transformer (FIT) trainings.
 • You have experience in working at sea and in a rotation schedule. • You have proven experience in working with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems. Having experience with network or telecommunication systems would be considered an advantage.
 • You are flexible, analytical, quality-oriented and a team player. 
• You are proficient in the English language both in writing and verbally.
 • You live in the Netherlands or are willing to relocate to the Netherlands within 3 months. 
The candidate would have: 
• Experience in (HV) troubleshooting. 
• Possession of C&T trainings on the Siemens geared platform. Additionally, an NEN 3140/3840 IV/WV training. 
• Siemens switchgear and transformer (FIT) trainings.
