• Work on data quality improvement initiatives, like Implementing data cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes to enhance data accuracy and completeness.
• Update and maintain documentation related to data models, data governance policies, and data dictionaries.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and data quality enhancement.
• Offer guidance and expertise to colleagues and stakeholders who may have questions or concerns related to master data.
• Conduct training sessions or workshops for data stewards and business users.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop and implement a comprehensive MDM strategy that aligns with the organization's business goals.
• Establish and enforce data governance frameworks, standards, and practices while collaborating with data stewards and business units to ensure compliance with data governance policies.
• Lead efforts to assess and improve data quality. This involves defining data quality metrics, setting data quality rules, and implementing data cleansing and data enrichment processes.
• Design data models and mappings to ensure the accurate representation of master data across systems. Ensure data mapping is consistent with business requirements.
• Actively participate and propose process improvement and data cleansing projects.
• Use data analytics and reporting tools to generate insights from master data. Provide reports and dashboards to stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making.
• Identify, collect and resolve data-related errors and issues throughout the organization.
• Design, communicate and train various teams (the team, internal stakeholders, data stewards, business users etc.) on Master Data management and governance practices.
• Continuously assess and improve MDM processes, data quality, and data governance practices based on feedback and evolving business needs.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of MDM processes, data definitions, data lineage, and data governance policies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate master data management with emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and automation, driving innovation in data governance and quality improvement.
• Lead initiatives to integrate master data management with enterprise-wide digital transformation efforts, ensuring seamless data flow and alignment with evolving business systems and technologies.

What You Bring

• +5 years’ experience managing master data across a complex international supply chain in an SAP environment. Experience in the SAP MM module is an advantage.
• Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task effectively, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment without close guidance or supervision.
• Strategic thinking to align master data initiatives with overall business objectives.
• Results-driven, self-sufficient, and highly motivated.
• Strong expertise in change management, particularly in guiding organizations through MDM-related transformations and ensuring smooth adoption of new processes and technologies.
• Experience collaborating with IT and business leaders to drive cross-functional MDM initiatives
• Experience in developing and executing data management and MDM strategies.
• Strong data analysis skills, including data profiling, data quality assessment, and data cleansing.
• Solid understanding of database systems, data warehousing, and data modelling.
• Project management skills to lead MDM projects, including planning, budgeting, and resource management.
• Several years of hands-on experience in MDM, data governance, or related roles.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, executive stakeholders, and data governance committees.
• Ability to understand complex data requirements and be able to identify and offer multiple solution options to facilitate the best outcome (e.g., task automation, digitalization).
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
• Ability to articulate the business value of MDM initiatives and gain buy-in from key decision-makers.
