A Snapshot of Your Day
The logistics trainee is responsible for follow-up to transport coordination and follow-up to import and/or export process.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assist in the coordination and execution of logistics and transportation activities (including oversea shipments).
- Responsible to prepare documents as part of each movement.
- Supporting to customs area to provide the information for the determination of the correct Harmonized Tariff Code for import & expo goods and origin´s certificates.
- Pick-up for materials from suppliers (air waybill, PO´s, arrange transportation).
- Support with Freigh Forwarders account statements and other suppliers.
- Follow up on the transit process of materials and components from the supplier's plant to their entry into the company.
- Education: Higher Technician or Graduate in International Trade or Logistics.
- Knowledge and handling of Incoterms. FCL and LCL imports and exports.
- Knowledge of SAP preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate English. Especially reading and writing skills.
- Intermediate Excel, Word & Power Point.

The traffic intern reports to the traffic coordinator and is involved in internal areas such as CS, Quality, Engineering, WH and finance, also with other Siemens Energy plants related to the supply chain. Works externally with suppliers and carriers.
