How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and supervise field service engineers, technicians, and craft labor during installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of combustion turbines, steam turbines, and generators at customer sites.
- Plan and manage project staffing, ensuring proper coordination of resources and compliance with Siemens Energy field service procedures.
- Provide technical expertise on combustion turbines to internal teams, customers, product line management, and suppliers, supporting issue resolution and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering to address on-site service challenges and ensure accurate execution of customer contract requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports on equipment condition, repairs, and recommendations, maintaining clear documentation for all service activities.
- Ensure compliance with EHS, quality standards, and company protocols, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, with working proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- 5+ years of experience as a mechanical field service engineer, with strong technical knowledge of combustion turbines, steam turbines, generators, and auxiliary systems.
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills, self-driven, and able to work with minimal supervision while fostering teamwork and managing risks.
- Adaptability and flexibility to handle changing priorities in dynamic environments, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning additional software tools as needed.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 80% of the time.
