A Snapshot of Your Day
You will perform minor repairs and restorations of components from aero derivative gas turbine engines and their modules to support the repair and overhaul businesses. All work is performed with health and safety as our priority under a culture of quality assurance and a focus on the customer. You will be working with a trained team that are working together to satisfy customer expectations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Minor repair of Gas turbine components by performing tasks such as thread-insert replacement, broken bolt removal, Stud replacement.
- Local Polishing of Gas Turbine Blades and vales to remove oxidation or other defects.
- Removal of seized bolts and fittings
- Removal of abradable liners on seals
- Specialized repairs of secondary parts on a larger component
- Any small repair that can be do in house.
- any other related or associated roles, tasks, or duties, which they can be trained, instructed and supervised to do safely.
- You will be working with the engineering team to develop new repair instructions.
What You Bring
- A trade school diploma in Machining or Mechanical Assembly
- A certificate of study in aeronautics recognized by the Ministry of Education is an asset.

The team of blue collar, unionize personnel, disassemble, inspect, repair and assemble Industrial Gas turbines and Industrial Power Turbines.
