A Snapshot of Your Day
Much of the working day is spent diagnosing and resolving technical problems. This may involve working with hardware, software, networks or company-specific systems. Every day, they interact with internal customers or users to better understand their problems and provide solutions. In addition to solving problems remotely, they also participate, in person, in the implementation of projects and services at power plants in the country and/or abroad.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Remote troubleshooting
- Analyze and install patches
- Support sales/offers with technical clarifications
- Configure systems and products as T3000 administrator
- Perform remote inspections
What You Bring
- Degree in Computer Science / Computer Systems Engineer / Control and Automation Engineer / Mechatronics Engineer.
- + 1 year of experience in the Information Technology sector and/or in the Instrumentation and Control area. General knowledge of the processes and main components of power generation plants.
- Administration of operating systems (Windows, Linux), knowledge of local networks (Servers, Hubs, Switches, Routers and firewalls), Antivirus (McAfee / Trend Micro), SPPA-T3000, PCS7, SIMATIC S7, WinCC.
- Language: native Spanish, advanced technical English 90% (written and spoken). German and/or Portuguese desirable.
- High availability to travel (nationally and internationally) up to 95% of the time the first year. Also high availability to be on call 24/7.
- Skills and competences: Gathering and analyzing information, Problem solving, Working under pressure, High degree of commitment and responsibility, Working for results, Customer orientation.
About the Team
In the Remote Expert Center, we are responsible for providing remote technical support and for the implementation, maintenance and updating of the control system of our customers in Latin America. This contributes to maintaining the operational availability of the power plants.
