A Snapshot of Your Day

 

As a business developer within electrical systems, you work closely with the entire department to improve our processes. You support the head of electrical systems with the strategic work and long term planning as well as digging deep into project processes to find underlying problems.

A typical day you may start with a process development session together with one of the interfaces, working together to fine tune processes and work with change management to improve the collaboration. After lunch, you spend time together with the management team to plan an upcoming strategy day before you dig deep into the latest data on time spending to understand how work is progressing in the teams.

You report directly to the head of Electrical Systems. You are a crucial partner in process development, both within the individual project teams and on the holistic department level. Your role ensures smooth order execution, keeping up efficient processes and creating value for our customers. Your strategic work also ensures that Electrical Systems are consistently ready for the challenges of both today and in the future.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

 

As a Business Developer within Electrical Systems, you will play a central role in optimizing and developing our business. You will work together with our project teams to ensure that we deliver the highest possible quality and efficiency in every project with smooth processes to lean on. Together with the managers and team leads you will work to improve processes and way of working. You will also work together with the management team on the strategy for electrical systems, focusing on change management and driving strategic projects and improvements.

 

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing and improving existing work processes within design and project lead engineering for electrical systems.
  • Coordinating and leading change projects to ensure smooth transitions and improvements.
  • Working with change management to help the business transition to new work methods and tools.
  • Collaborating with various departments to ensure a unified and efficient work process and smooth collaboration between interfaces.
  • Responsible for collecting and documenting "lessons learned" from completed projects to continuously improve our work methods.
  • Supporting management in strategic work, laying the foundation for long term success.
  • Driving cost initiatives to optimize resource usage and reduce project costs without compromising quality.

 

What You Bring

  • You possess a strong analytical ability and a passion for inspiring change and improvement.
  • You have previous experience in business development or within the customer order engineering processes.
  • Good knowledge of process analysis and change management.
  • Experience working in a project-based environment and managing multiple parallel projects.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • You foster collaboration, both with colleagues and other interfaces
  • You are passionate about long term success and have a strategic approach on how to improve processes and way of working for both current and future needs.
  • You talk and write fluently in English.

 

About the Team

You will be part of the management team for the electrical systems office and work together with both our project teams but also closely with the management team and the head of Electrical Systems. Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
