Siemens Energy is seeking an experienced and motivated Area Sales Manager to drive commercial growth for the SGT50 (2MW) gas turbine portfolio across the Latin America (RLA) region, covering both New Unit sales and the Service (aftermarket) business. This is your opportunity to influence strategic regional growth while supporting the global energy transition.

How You’ll Make an Impact
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive profitable growth, increase our regional market share and meet order entry and gross margin targets
 Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with internal and external customers, distributors, EPCs, and partners
Identify customer needs and deliver tailored value-adding solutions for both New Unit and Service opportunities
Prepare, structure, and negotiate pricing, tenders, and commercial contracts
Collaborate closely with engineering, project management, and customer support teams to ensure successful project execution
Prepare sales forecasts, reporting, and market analysis updates

What You Bring

Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred) or Business Administration
Minimum 5 years of sales experience, ideally within gas turbines, power generation, or industrial energy markets
Proven history of achieving or exceeding sales targets within power generation, oil & gas, rotating equipment or other related industries
Strong technical understanding of gas turbine systems and applications or other relevant technologies
Excellent communication, negotiation, and multicultural relationship-building skills
Willingness to travel frequently within the RLA region, with some international travel

About the team:

The SGT 50 team consists of a group of highly skilled specialists responsible for the stewardship, engineering, sales support, and lifecycle management of the 2MW SGT 50 gas turbine portfolio.
Headquartered in Kongsberg Norway and working across the wider Siemens Energy organization, the team supports customers, distributors, and internal functions by providing technical guidance, engineering updates, product improvements, and operational support throughout the turbine’s lifecycle. Their scope spans everything from R&D, design, manufacturing, delivery and field-service for both New Units as well as for a full range of Service offerings for the installed fleet.
The team is recognized for its long-standing experience with the SGT 50 product line, which has more than 1,000 units delivered and over 25 million operating hours globally. Their combined efforts ensure the product family remains reliable, competitive, and aligned with customer needs.
