How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will develop, implement, and maintain local EHSQ strategies, policies, and programs aligned with Siemens Energy’s objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for EHSQ processes and performance across all substation projects and operations in Portugal.
• Manage the EHSQ budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to support program goals and strategic priorities.
• Oversee the EHSQ management system (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001) to ensure its effectiveness, maintenance, and certification.
• Lead and mentor a team of EHSQ professionals, promoting a proactive safety culture through visible leadership and effective communication.

What You Bring

• You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• You possess extensive experience in an EHSQ role, with proven leadership capabilities in managing teams.
• You have certifications such as Técnico Superior de Segurança no Trabalho (TSST) - Portugal CAP Level VI, Certified Safety Professional (CSP), or equivalent.
• Your expertise includes in-depth knowledge of EHSQ regulations and experience with management systems like ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
• You demonstrate strong analytical and investigative abilities, including skills in root cause analysis and report writing.

This team is committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration, working closely with various project sites and office locations.
