A Snapshot of Your Day:

As a Costing Manager at Siemens Energy, you will target experienced finance professionals with a strong analytical mindset and leadership skills. You will engage in meaningful projects such as cost analysis, budgeting, and inventory management, directly impacting profitability and strategic decision-making for the organization. Collaborating with a diverse and inclusive team, you will provide valuable insights to senior leadership, ensuring compliance and supporting our mission to drive sustainable energy solutions.

How You’ll Make an Impact:
  • Cost Analysis and Control
    • Analyzing production costs, labor, materials, and overhead.
    • Identifying areas where the company can reduce costs and improve profitability.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting
    • Lead the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts including the calculation of Cost Rates for the Service Centre and Field Service departments.
    • Monitoring actual costs against budgeted figures and reporting variances.
  • Inventory Management
    • Ensuring accurate inventory records and reconciling physical stock with accounting records.
  • Cost Reporting
    • Preparing internal cost reports for management to support decision-making.
    • Providing cost information for pricing decisions and profitability analysis.
  • Reporting & Compliance
    • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and consolidation.
    • Support internal and external audits.
    • Maintain compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
  • Strategic Financial Support
    • Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
    • Support financial aspects of projects, including cost control and performance monitoring.
What You Bring:
  • 7+ years of experience in finance roles with strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and other financial systems for effective financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and enhance performance.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to foster collaboration in a diverse and inclusive environment.
