As a Costing Manager at Siemens Energy, you will target experienced finance professionals with a strong analytical mindset and leadership skills. You will engage in meaningful projects such as cost analysis, budgeting, and inventory management, directly impacting profitability and strategic decision-making for the organization. Collaborating with a diverse and inclusive team, you will provide valuable insights to senior leadership, ensuring compliance and supporting our mission to drive sustainable energy solutions.
How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Cost Analysis and Control
- Analyzing production costs, labor, materials, and overhead.
- Identifying areas where the company can reduce costs and improve profitability.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts including the calculation of Cost Rates for the Service Centre and Field Service departments.
- Monitoring actual costs against budgeted figures and reporting variances.
- Inventory Management
- Ensuring accurate inventory records and reconciling physical stock with accounting records.
- Cost Reporting
- Preparing internal cost reports for management to support decision-making.
- Providing cost information for pricing decisions and profitability analysis.
- Reporting & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting and consolidation.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Maintain compliance with internal controls and financial regulations.
- Strategic Financial Support
- Provide insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support financial aspects of projects, including cost control and performance monitoring.
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in finance roles with strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and other financial systems for effective financial analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills to drive data-informed decision-making.
- In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles to ensure compliance and accuracy.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and enhance performance.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to foster collaboration in a diverse and inclusive environment.
