The Strategy and Business Development Specialist develops, oversees, and drives regional strategic initiatives for the Gas Services Latin America Regional Service Unit. This role collaborates closely with Sales, Service Operations, Service Programs, EQS and Finance in the development of cross-functional business development initiatives, supports market and competitor analysis, research and executes business models to support and grow the business in the region.

You will work together with the region’s Latin America Central, Distributed and Controls and Digitalization customers, collaborating closely with various stakeholders (internally and externally) in the development and execution of their strategic projects. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Business Operations for the Region.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Supporting the Market Evaluation Process, and Market Outlook among other strategic planning processes of the SE GS LA Regional Service Unit as required by the business.
• Supports the Regional Strategic Framework, including PMO on several key initiatives, strategic projects, delivering tangible results on their execution.
• Analyze and maintain market, customer, fleet, and data segmentation for market penetration strategies and business development projects.
• Delivers internal and external executive reports; gathering and analyzing market, competitor, and customer intelligence as input to the decision-making process.
• Supports cost-out and productivity initiatives for the region.
• Directly supports executive regional management meetings and reports, including data consolidation and cross-organizational feedback.

What You Bring

• BS Degree with a concentration in Business, Finance or Engineering. MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred.
• 3+ years of Marketing, Business Development and/or Strategy experience.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced and demanding environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously and prioritizing time and resources based on business impact. Proactively craft and conceptualize complex quantitative analysis and build analytical models.

• Must demonstrate advanced proficiency in Excel tables and Power Point. Knowledge in Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI or other data visualization tools is a plus!
• Bilingual (English/Spanish, written and verbal) with experience working in a diverse cross-cultural business, required.
• 10% International Travel may be required.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
