I & C Commissioning Engineer

Responsible for I&C - Commissioning Engineer for commissioning, maintenance start up and commissioning of I&C equipment and components for our installed Gas & Steam Turbines

How You Will Make an Impact

• You are responsible for commissioning of I&C components like: Automation Processors, sensors, and drives.
• You are responsible for commissioning of I&C systems like interlock checks and optimization of control circuits acc. to logic – diagrams. 
• You are responsible for Implementation of modifications/revisions related to controls and instrumentation from engineering (software/hardware changes)
• Hydraulic Control Valve calibration and commissioning.
• Inlet Guide Vane calibration and commissioning.
• Process Optimization/Tuning for power plant DCS-systems, especially Gas & Steam Turbine control system on site
• Supporting customers in emergency cases like startups and operation issues in power plant station
• Troubleshooting activities on site or via remote services to diagnose problems, determine appropriate resolution and implement corrective actions.
• Building a strong customer relationship through a positive, proactive & professional approach.
• Work under the company quality management system and take responsibility for HS&E

What You Bring

• Degree/Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation (or other similar automation related technical area)
• Minimum of 5 years of field service experience in servicing, recommissioning, or commissioning of Turbine Controls in Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines.
• Practical knowledge of Siemens controls system for power plant automation (SIMADYN, TXP/SPPA T2000, T3000, PCS7, S7/WinCC).
• In-depth practical knowledge of turbine controls, protection relays, vibration systems and over speed protection systems.
• Knowledge of Automation System, LAN Overview, Server components.    
• Flexibility to work overtime based on workload and work both independently and within a team.
• Willingness to travel to customer site with little to no advance notice and travel frequently within lower gulf and crisis countries like Iraq & Libya.
