The Turbine Service Project Engineer supports customers with installation, maintenance, and warranty work with industrial power generation rotating equipment (Gas/Steam turbines).

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform preplanning, tool orders, external PO’s, work instructions to support TS work scopes at customer outages
• Participating in TMS, Pre and Post outage Meetings, Rapid Risk Assessments
• Manage numerous projects simultaneously as it relates to budget, schedule and execution
• Periodically visits field project sites
• Supports TS tool committee meetings for tooling improvements/development

What You Bring

• BS in related field or equivalent experience
• 7+ years of field service and/or engineering experience is required; Candidates with more years of experience may be eligible for a more senior level role.
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of Turbine Service capabilities and product offerings is preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be efficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, and internet navigation.
• Occasional domestic travel (minimum international travel may be required).
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
