A Snapshot of Your Day

With focus on our business in Belgium, we are looking for a Trainee for Finance Business Administration partner for products and services within the Siemens Energy Transformation of Industry Business Area. You will be responsible for administrative and financial tasks, within the framework of the commercial aspects for product and service orders from our customers.

Supervising the financial and commercial aspects of various orders (costs, income and cash flow, commercial conditions, invoicing and payments). To this end, you will work closely with our customers as part of a team with Sales Manager, Sales Assistants, Project Managers, colleagues globally (various competence centres abroad) and external suppliers.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Commercial management of Service orders including spare part business: Order Management, invoicing, cost controlling - all in line with the regulatory framework
• Commercial administration and support for Field Service activities (including tax assessment)
• Accounts receivable management
• Support on digitalization improvements in the finance arena
• Assist in monthly monitoring to ensure accuracy of financial situation
• Ad-hoc reporting requirements where required and assisting Forecast and Budget related tasks
• Supports the team to generate training documentation for SAP

What You Bring

• Education/studies with Finance background
• Value Flow, IFRS requirements – basic knowledge
• Proficient working with Microsoft Office applications and SAP
• Good communication skills and ability to work and connect in a remote team
• English language knowledge on a business conversational level is a must – Dutch and French is a plus
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving , standout colleague, initiative, and proactivity.
• Willingness to travel to Belgium on demand/if needed for a limited period
