A Snapshot of Your Day
Each day, you’ll facilitate Scrum ceremonies, coach team members on Agile standard processes, and ensure seamless collaboration between customers and development teams. You’ll help remove obstacles, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and empower your team to own their work and deliver impactful products. Your expertise in SAFe, cloud platforms, and data architecture will directly support Siemens Gamesa’s mission for clean, reliable energy, all within a culture that values your leadership, technical acuity, and commitment to excellence.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, sprint review, and sprint retrospective.
- Identify and trouble shoot obstacles that are hindering the team’s progress.
- Promote continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions.
- Communicate project status, risks and issues to team members.
- Track K P Is and help teams deliver high-quality products/solutions on time.
- Ensure that the team follows the Scrum framework and adheres to Agile principles.
- Facilitate internal communication and effective collaboration
- Be the point of contact for external communications (e.g. from customers or partners)
- Work with product owners to handle backlogs and new requests
- Resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that occur
- Help teams implement changes effectively
- Ensure work is up to quality standards at the end of each sprint
- Guide development teams to higher scrum maturity
- Help build a productive environment where team members ‘own’ the product and enjoy working on it
What You Bring
- You have 10+ years of dynamic experience in software development, architecture, and Agile delivery.
- You hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- You are a certified SAFe Scrum Master (or hold a similar SAFe certification) with deep knowledge of Agile frameworks.
- You have hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and DevOps practices.
- You are skilled in CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and automation frameworks.
- You bring expertise in data modeling, cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery), and ETL pipeline automation.
- You are proficient in programming languages such as C#, Python, Scala, or SQL.
- You have superb communication and leadership skills, growing in multi-functional, global teams.
- You are familiar with data governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments.
About the Team
For our Onshore Execution Digital Product Development team, we are seeking an experienced Product Owner with 9+ years of expertise in defining and prioritizing product features and requirements for SAFE/Agile teams.
