A Snapshot of Your Day

 As a Team Lead – Secondary Structures Development at Siemens Gamesa, you guide a team of engineers working on the design and improvement of secondary structural components. You review work, solve technical challenges, and ensure designs meet safety and performance standards. You collaborate with cross-functional teams and support smooth project execution. Your leadership helps deliver reliable and efficient turbine solutions.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Create an inspiring team environment with open communication and sound decision-making
  • Maintain and foster close collaboration with Europe-based stakeholders and contributors, as well as an international (Europe/US) management team and peer Team Leads
  • Perform competence gap analysis and develop team and individual development plans, including identifying training needs and providing coaching
  • Demonstrate strong ownership to ensure the quality of team deliverables; perform quality checks and focus on continuous improvement
  • Alignment on demand and requirements with project managers for New Product Development, Cost-outs and Non-conformities
  • Operate with an innovative mindset and customer focus to deliver value
  • Successfully coordinate and drive topics related to the team or in support of the broader organization
  • Solve problems effectively while working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

 

What You Bring

  • Graduate/Postgraduate in Mechanical or Production Engineering
  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience as a team leader with excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Multiple years of experience collaborating with international (Europe/US) and cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
  • Strong problem-solving attitude, facilitation, and coaching skills
  • Excellent personal organization, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience in the wind industry is preferred but not mandatory
