A Snapshot of Your Day
As a warehouse supervisor, your role would be to coordinate the work teams to achieve goals efficiently, interacting with different areas (production, quality, engineering, planning) to ensure the correct flow of physical material and systems, so that the production lines are always supplied with material to operate efficiently
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ensure the safety and integrity of personnel in the work areas.
- Ensure compliance with the established indicators for the area through periodic monitoring: adherence to the production plan, overtime, inventories, NCRs, maintenance, among others.
- Ensure the proper use and operation of the machines and devices used within the process, following a constant training program for the staff.
- Ensure timely and proper supply to the production lines.
- Ensure the correct receipt of materials arrives at the plant.
- Ensure the reliability of the inventory.
What You Bring
- Professional Skills: Strong organizational and time management abilities; excellent verbal and written communication in English. Minimum of 3 years in similar roles.
- Technical Knowledge: Experience with warehouse management systems (SAP or similar), inventory control, material handling, and warehouse operations such as receiving, supply, location, cycle counts, and data entry.
- Additional Knowledge: Familiarity with lean manufacturing culture and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Language: Intermediate English proficiency (B2 level).
- Leadership Skills: Effective communication with both unionized and non-unionized personnel.
