We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader for the position of High Voltage Substation Business Manager to oversee our substation business operations in Spain in alignment with the strategic objectives of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the substation business area, including project development, financial performance, customer relations, and team leadership. The role requires a strategic problem solver with a proven track record in the energy sector and a deep understanding of the Spanish market.
How You’ll Make an Impact
· Lead the substation business unit, focusing on strategic direction and operational excellence.
· Oversee the planning, design, and construction of substation projects.
· Manage financial performance, including budgeting and profitability analysis.
· Build and maintain relationships with clients, suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
· Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
· Drive business growth through market analysis, business development, and team mentorship.
What You Bring
· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
· A minimum of 7 years of experience in the energy sector, with a focus on high voltage substations.
· Strong understanding of the Spanish energy market and regulatory environment.
· Proven managerial and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
· Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English.
· Ability to travel as needed to support business requirements.
