A Snapshot of Your Day
Electrification-Automation-Digitalization (EAD) is looking for a Production Supervisor with direct experience in project/resource planning, lean assembly practices, preventative maintenance of an assembly facility, and customer liaison.
This role will be a very exciting and challenging role which will require someone who is able and willing to support a vast number of different activities and roles in a fast-paced growing environment. This Supervisor role supports a team which executes final assembly of subsea electrical components and assemblies including connectors, sensors, terminations, and electrical flying leads.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Creating and managing all personnel work orders. Liaising with operations manager on order status and prioritization.
- Maintaining all status reports of builds on the shop floor; staging material to shop floor. Shop floor layout for a lean, efficient setup.
- Direct customer communication on delivery, test, and inspection logistics.
- Creating and maintaining visual management on all assemblies. Managing equipment calibration.
- Direct communication and supervision of technicians while they perform the work. Perform EHS toolbox talks and maintain records.
- Plan and execute all facility preventative maintenance. When needed, perform hands-on technical assembly work.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred. 3+ years industry experience; ideally in electrical assembly for the oil and gas industry.
- Excellent multitasking skills and ability to learn; independent worker able to manage their assignments with minimal supervision.
- Strong communication skills!
- Proven experienced in being able to support assembly activities.
- Salesforce experience is required! SAP experience is preferred.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
