At Siemens Energy Transformers in Trento, as a Strategic Buyer, you'll begin your day by reviewing procurement needs and analyzing market trends. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Develop and maintain long-term supplier relationships to secure the best quality materials and services.
- Conduct market analysis to determine procurement strategies that align with both local and central objectives.
- Prepare detailed reports, including the calculation of critical metrics, to supervise and communicate procurement performance.
- Successfully implement strategies that provide stability amidst supply chain disruptions.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure procurement activities are aligned with overall company goals.
What You Bring
- Proven experience in strategic procurement within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to perform detailed market analysis.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, crucial for building and maintaining supplier relationships.
- A proactive and ambitious approach, driven to achieve and exceed procurement targets.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse and inclusive team setting.
- Having excellent Italian & English communication skill is required;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP proficiency; Advanced Excel abilities (pivot tables, V-Lookup, macros, charting/graphing);
- Available to business trips (national and sometimes also international).
