A Snapshot of Your Day
As a HVDC Solution Architect, you are a key figure in our organization defining the technical strategy and solution for HVDC On-and Offshore projects globally. You are responsible to clarify and understand technical content with contractual implications, co-ordinate the Solution Architect activities, minimize risk-exposure, contribute to the potential of success in tenders and projects, while ensuring the most beneficial solution for all stakeholders maintaining a good relationship with the customer. The Solution Architect will support a positive project team spirit around common goals and achievements. By communicating in a very clear, open and proactive way, you are encouraging others to do the same.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead national and international technical offer team resources across the organization.
- Collaborate with both external and internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project lifecycle
- Establish a foundation for the tailored solution proposal in accordance to the customer requirements and business cases
- Develop a functional technical solution for the specific tender project in collaboration with the engineering team, taking into account reference solution modules
- Manage the entire technical scope and oversee interface coordination across all technical disciplines including platform partner from overall tender perspective
- Provide guidance to the Sales Manager in the pre-acquisition phase setting up the technical solution in line with our development roadmaps
- Active engagement in international committees
What You Bring
- Completed university degree preferably in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical field
- Extensive experience in HVDC technology solution as well as interdisciplinary competence in international HVDC business
- Advanced knowledge and experience in project management and contract management
- Advanced experience in leading in international standardization and opinion forming
- Strong analytical and communication skills for understanding customer needs, providing value-added inputs, and excelling in multicultural environments with a strategic approach
- Proficient in HVDC technology project negotiations, interface management for offshore solutions, teamwork, customer orientation, and leadership abilities
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English and knowledge of German is preferred
