A Snapshot of Your Day
You will be the responsible to install, perform start-up tests, commissioning and maintenance of high voltage substations in Air Insulated Switchgear (AIS) technologies around Americas, directly on site.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Understand and implement electrical and/or mechanical plans to carry out the installation, commissioning and maintenance of electrical substations.
- Supervise subcontracted personnel to ensure assembly according to electrical substation plans.
- Ensure the quality of assembly and commissioning according to factory standards.
- Prepare weekly technical and administrative reports, and prepare service completion report.
- Responsibility for assembly and testing equipment.
- Responsibility for complying with and/or enforcing current protocols, policies, guidelines and competencies of the comprehensive management system (EHS, Quality)
What You Bring
- Education: Electrical, Mechatronics or Electromechanical Engineering. Professional Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position Technical Knowledge: electrical (high voltage) and mechanical
- Languages: Intermediate English
- Availability to Travel: For extended stays (4 months max.) nationally and internationally Skills/Competencies: Communication, Teamwork, Leadership, Schedule Flexibility
- Soft skills such as: leadership, responsibility, active listening, travelling, tolerance
- Hard Skills such as: electrical knowledge, Safety principal in electrical field, IEC & IEEE standard knowledge, handling of test equipment.
