A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and implementation of solutions across the ServiceNow platform, with a strong focus on ITSM, HRSD, SPM, IRM, and OTSM modules. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with leadership skills to guide a team of developers, work closely with stakeholders, and ensure scalable, high-quality ServiceNow implementations.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead the technical design, configuration, and development of ServiceNow solutions across ITSM, HRSD, SPM, IRM, and OTSM applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and platform architecture.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of ServiceNow developers and administrators.
- Maintain deep, comprehensive knowledge of ServiceNow’s capabilities and constraints.
- Ensure to minimize the degree of platform customization and utilize Out of the box features to accomplish user requirements
- Lead platform upgrades, instance health reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.
- Work closely with the development team (internal / external) to validate the technical solutions as per the platform guidelines and get the requirements implemented within the committed timeframe
- Continuously explore new features provided in the platform with every new release and accordingly strive for improvements in the existing set-up
- Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
- Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices around governance, security, ACLs, and scoped applications.
- Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and manage technical debt.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide root cause analysis.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 7–9 years of relevant IT experience with strong hands-on ServiceNow development and technical leadership experience.
- Detailed knowledge of ServiceNow Platform Architecture.
- Hands-on expertise across ServiceNow modules, including:
- IT Service Management (ITSM)
- HR Service Delivery (HRSD)
- Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM)
- Integrated Risk Management (IRM)
- IT Asset Management (ITAM)
- Operational Technology Service Management (OTSM)
- Experience designing and implementing Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, including Glide APIs, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, ACLs, Employee Center Portal, and Service Portal/UI Builder.
- Experience designing and implementing complex integrations using REST, SOAP, JDBC, LDAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
- Strong JavaScript scripting expertise and knowledge of ServiceNow scripting best practices.
- Experience conducting code reviews and mentoring development teams.
- Hands-on experience performing ServiceNow upgrades, Instance Scan reviews, and platform performance tuning.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
- Strong focus on maximizing out-of-the-box ServiceNow capabilities.
- Excellent leadership skills to guide development partners, mentor technical teams, and maintain platform health.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
- Ability to research and evaluate new ServiceNow platform capabilities and industry trends.
- Ability to prioritize and deliver in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
- Experience working within global, collaborative teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
- Certified Application Developer (CAD).
- Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications across ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, HRSD, IRM, or SPM.
- Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF).
- Knowledge of out-of-the-box and custom Generative AI and Agentic AI capabilities available within the ServiceNow platform.
