Imagine stepping into a role where you ensure the seamless operation of the Rentel & Seamade wind farms in Belgium. As a key player in the Offshore Service Operations team, you’ll dive into hands-on maintenance and repair of wind turbine systems, both remotely and on-site. Your day will be filled with diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, all while adhering to strict safety and documentation standards. This role is your chance to contribute to a sustainable future by maintaining operational uptime and service commitments, ensuring that every turbine runs smoothly and efficiently.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on wind turbine systems, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.
• Diagnose and resolve system malfunctions using hand tools, power tools, and specialized test equipment.
• Monitor turbine operations via SCADA systems, identifying and troubleshooting anomalies to maintain reliability.
• Adhere to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Complete detailed service reports and maintenance logs, contributing to process improvement initiatives.

What You Bring

• A vocational or technical degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a service technician in wind energy, offshore, or heavy industrial sectors.
• Proven skills in troubleshooting, with a strong aptitude for mechanical and electrical systems.
• Certification in Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST).
• Advanced proficiency in English, with the ability to work effectively under moderate supervision.
