Service Support Manager

Then you might be the new Service Support Manager we are looking for in our service team! 

 

A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Service Support Manager, you will support our customers in caring for their rotating equipment’s such as steam turbines, gas turbines, and compressors of any size. This could be from a few hundred kW up to large units with several hundred megawatts. Being able to act as a trusted adviser in matters of technical and maintenance is crucial in this role. You can also rely on a wide range of experienced colleagues in our global team, mainly in Europe, but also worldwide.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

As a Service Support Manager, you will be the face of Siemens Energy in front of our customers, clarifying their needs for service on rotating machinery and translating these needs into service offers in close cooperation with dedicated colleagues in our factories and service workshops.

After receiving an order, you will coordinate the execution of the work comprising ordering of spare parts, workshop repairs, site activities including dismantling and reassembly of the equipment using field service staff from our factories as well as from local suppliers.   

Coordinating site activities and close contact with customers is a vital part of your daily work.

Maintaining close contacts with international colleagues and experts is an important aspect of this role. 
 

What You Bring

  • An education in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience with rotating machinery
  • Good knowledge of mechanical equipment, thermodynamics and hydraulics 
  • Basic knowledge of controls and electrical equipment 
  • Structured approach to offers, contracts and financials 
  • Ability to travel - mainly in Denmark- occasionally to our factories in Europe, approx. 30 days a year 
  • Fluent in Danish and English both speaking and writing 
  • Ability to work in a team as well as individually and handle several tasks at a time, also under pressure 
  • Ability to familiarize with new topics and transfer this into practical task handling  
  • You need to independently drive your own tasks and you must be able to build trust and relations with customers 
     

About the Team

Equipment from Siemens Energy stands behind an extensive part of the production of electric energy worldwide and as a member of our team you will contribute to a safe, sustainable and reliable energy supply in Denmark in the years to come. You will report to the Head of Nordics for Steam turbines and Generators. 

From an operative daily basis, you report the local team lead in Denmark.
