A Snapshot of your day
In this role, your day will involve coordinating with suppliers and clients to ensure timely procurement, delivery, and compliance with Siemens O&M requirements while managing import logistics and customs clearance. Simultaneously, you’ll oversee administrative tasks, inventory checks, and provide guidance to team members, all while identifying opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Establish contacts with subcontractors and suppliers, obtain quotations, negotiate prices, prepare purchase orders, and verify incoming invoices.
- Maintain close communication with clients to ensure timely provision of materials and services under the client's scope, verifying deliveries against Siemens O&M requirements.
- Manage the import of offshore parts and supplies, including obtaining customs clearance.
- Prepare and maintain administrative reports related to purchasing, bookkeeping, and stores management.
- Perform and support inventory checks for tools and assets under Siemens Energy O&M’s responsibility.
- Provide guidance to team members, ensure adherence to SCM policies, identify cost-saving opportunities, and suggest process improvements.
What You Bring
- Background in purchasing, finance, or international business administration.
- Knowledge of tax law, government procurement law, business processes, and SAP systems.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and organized approach to tasks.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
