A Snapshot of Your Day 

As a Senior Expert (m/f/d) you will be part of a global team in a research and development environment. With your experience in insulation design for transformers you will develop new solutions and support the further improvement of existing products. Your focus will be on dielectric insulation arrangements for transformers.

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Work as a Development Engineer in the Dielectric Team, focusing on insulation design for power transformers
  • Develop and implement standardized insulation arrangements and innovative solutions for efficiency
  • Ensure compliance by translating technical rules and standards into practical applications
  • Identify cost-reduction measures while maintaining insulation quality and reliability
  • Integrate fundamental research insights to create high-performance transformer solutions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and define/process experiments in labs and manufacturing
What You Bring
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, High Voltage Technology, or a related field
  • Multiple years of experience in insulation solutions for power transformers or similar fields
  • Deep understanding of high voltage technology, norms, and dielectric behavior of insulation systems
  • Strong analytical skills for solving complex technical problems, including numerical field analysis (FEM)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English or German
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a dynamic team environment, with travel availability (1 week per quarter)

Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of  € 60.785,90 gross anual – 4.341,85 € gross monthly.
