We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Expert Supply Market Intelligence to enhance sustainable Supply Chain Resilience. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of market developments of raw materials used in the supply chain of the energy industry, is on top of micro- and macroeconomic trends, and is keen to drive supply market data digitalization and technology implementation.

The candidate will be responsible for monitoring supply markets and will act as trusted advisor to the procurement community and x-functional stakeholders.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You provide comprehensive expertise and experience in the area of Supply market intelligence.
• Act as “go-to person” for Supply market intelligence topics across all business areas.
• Closely monitor supply market developments, reflecting on business impact, opportunities, and risks
• Drive individual projects to establish and continuously improve the supply market intelligence framework linked to SE business & procurement strategy.
• Lead activities to embed supply market intelligence in the procurement processes and
• supply chain.
• Coordinate the collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Management of the outsourcing partner for the area of Supply Market Intelligence to identify improvements for SE.
• Lead relationships with external Supply market intelligence service providers, search and select new partners- if needed- and integrate them into the SE process
• Prepare regular reports/ advisories to support the global procurement organization and SE senior management with latest supply market topics and trends.
• Support the P community with trainings for different Supply market intelligence topics addressing different stakeholder groups.
• Contribute to the monthly Supply market intelligence webinars on global supply market updates.

What You Bring

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics and Management- Business Management Administration or Engineering - Technical Studies- Materials Engineering
• More than 4 years work experience in Renewable energy, Energy, utilities & mining, Industrial manufacturing, or Consulting
• Project management skills, excellent analytical skills, structured thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills such as executing for results, setting strategy, relations, and influence.
• Customer oriented mindset, strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in digitalization and technology implementation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• English, German a plus. International working experience preferred.
• Flexibility to travel if needed- 10 – 20% business travel (international & domestic)
