A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Seasonal Project Administrator, you will work in a key role with District Service Offices that supports outages onsite or offsite with maintaining project costs, managing project budgets, payrolls, billing, customer support, and any other tasks assigned by Project Team/District Service Office. The Project Administrator position is a +90% travel position that requires presence at customer sites supporting the project team and customer.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide field project administrative support by coordinating various payrolls, complex project cost management/tracking via activity detail, and generating/coordinating project/contract billing using the Siemens Energy internal system.
- Administer union labor payroll in addition to various Siemens Energy organization's payroll submissions. Interact frequently with different levels of Siemens Energy management, support groups, and internal customers while also interacting for external customer requirements as required.
- Produce reliable and complete cost reports using ProMo to provide budget guidance to the project team and management on a consistent basis. Manage and generate weekly billing documentation which is used to drive customer invoicing.
- Work in multiple databases, use spreadsheets, and MS SharePoint/OneDrive to consolidate documentation, produce customer billing packages and manage the back-up documentation required to support customer invoicing.
- Provide standard administrative support as required in addition to other necessary activities such as local courier, site supply purchasing, nuclear facility in-processing support (when at nuclear sites), and training class scheduling/coordination. Participate in post project evaluations/reviews, project audits, and special project assignments as requested.
What You Bring
- High School diploma or GED.
- 2+ years of related industry experience.
- Solid background in accounting/payroll/billing; experience in customer service.
- Must be flexible to work nights and weekend and holidays; potentially in field for up to 3 months at a time (per outage).
- Able to walk long distances, carry up to 30 lbs and work in an industrial environment including Nuclear Power Plants, Large Fossil Power Plants & Combined Cycle Power Plants.
- Willing to travel +90% domestic.
- SAP and/or experience with other Enterprise Resource & Planning Databases. Proficient in Excel and other MS Office Products.
- Eager to work in a dynamic, high pace environment!
- Guaranteed at least 1,248 hours of scheduled assignments required with the option to decline assignments after reaching 1,248 hours for the year.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
