A Snapshot of Your Day
As the Sales Manager, you will drive and coordinate all client activity during the various project development phases of an opportunity through order entry and deliver the successful sales campaigns for Siemens Energy Gas Turbine portfolio in Oil & Gas for both Power Generation and Mechanical Drive applications.
In this role, you will be expected to liaise with the customers, EPCs and process licensors for early business development, manage the respective relationships and develop and implement the project sales strategies to secure orders for gas turbines. You will identify the client project evaluators, influencers and decision-makers in customer organization and drive the Siemens Energy value at each stage of acquisition cycle.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and deliver successful gas turbine sales campaigns in the Oil & Gas for GS in both power generation and mechanical drive
- Identify and maintain the opportunity list in Salesforce in a punctual and accurate manner.
- Develop winning strategies for each found opportunity by considering customer needs, equipment application, aftermarket, and LTP strategy at Siemens Energy.
- Lead a multi-function capture team to ensure the sales success
- strengths, competitor’s weaknesses and a robust market level pricing recommendation based on the assessment of competitive position.
- Lead technical and commercial negotiations with the customer until contract closure.
- Manage the organizational risk through the entire sales development process both in terms of customer contractual obligations as well as providing robust internal sales forecasting.
- Achieve and maintain superior responsiveness to customers with quality information to strengthen Siemens Energy position.
What You Bring
- Educational Background: BS or BA degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of centrifugal compressors.
- Industry Experience: 8-10 years in the Oil & Gas industry, with at least 3 years in sales/business development.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strategic problem-solving with a focus on technical differentiation and value selling.
- Communication Skills: Proficient in both written and spoken communication, capable of discussing technical and commercial aspects.
- Presentation Skills: Strong presentation skills, both written and oral, at all levels.
- Interpersonal Skills: Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills, able to work independently and interact with all levels within customer organizations.
- Travel Willingness: Willingness to travel as required.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
