The Repair Braze Operator processes all braze operations on turbine components apparatus and blades. The selected candidate will perform all braze applications including mixing of braze, PSP application, braze application, troubleshooting issues and doing so with quality results and with minimal supervision. This is a first shift role (Mon.-Fri. 7:30AM– 3:30PM).

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Apply, preforms, and braze mix per applicable work instructions, including parts preparation for braze.
• Cut, shape preforms and perform spot welding.
• Work with Engineering on Qualifications and R&D.
• Demonstrate ability to train.
• Work with Operators, Engineering, and Supervision on process improvements.

What You Bring 

• This position requires a high school education or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with Braze materials and processes.
• Requires the ability to read, write, complete simple forms, and understand simple written instructions. 
• Requires the ability to perform math skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Requires the simple use of formulas, charts, tables, drawings, specifications, schedules, or diagrams.

Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
